DescriptionMr. Totti Könnölä is Managing Director of Insight Foresight Institute (IFI) and Adjunct Professor of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). He is experienced in foresight and sustainability [MSc (env. econ.), Dr.Sci (tech.)]. His real passion is to help policy and business to connect the digital with circular economy; currently on the following three fronts: i) Executive and founder of Insight Foresight Institute (innovation research and consulting firm), ii) International advisor and board professional (for startups, policy and academic institutions) and iii) Keynote speaker; professor in business and engineering schools. Könnölä is a board member of Sustainability College Bruges, FOM Asesoramiento Tecnológico and GES Alliance. He is also a nominated member of ‘los 100 de Cotec’, a group of experts for Cotec Foundation for Innovation, an advisor for the European Innovation Council and for Policy Support Facility of the European Commission and for the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology). He has published widely, for instance co-authored of Palgrave Macmillan Book ‘Eco-innovation: When competitiveness and sustainability shake hands’ translated to Spanish and Chinese.
