DescriptionCarmen Florido is a Contracted Professor Doctor Type 1 of the University of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria, in the Department of Economic Analysis. PhD in Economics from the ULPGC and currently, Vice Dean of Postgraduate of the Faculty of Business and Tourism of the University. The research areas in which he works are: International Economics and International Agricultural Trade; Economy and Innovation in Tourism; Circular Economy (particularly in tourism) and Educational Innovation. He has published scientific articles in JCR journals such as Journal of Agricultural Economics, Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Economics, and Encyclopedia of Tourism edited by Springer and in the Journal of Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Spain. She has been co-coordinator of the "Annual Report: Economics, Society and Employment in the Canary Islands" of the Economic and Social Council (CES) of the Canary Islands during the years 2004-2006, as well as co-author of some of its chapters. She currently participates as a researcher and responsible for the area of economics in the Mac-Interreg project (Mac / 1.1ยช / 207), with the acronym "Islandap" of the first INTERREG MAC 2014-2020 call and whose main beneficiary is the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
